Plymouth Dolphins R.F.C which started in January 2022 has started to get some recognition in the city of Plymouth for being the only Plymouth based LGBT+ rugby team.
Plymouth Dolphins R.F.C who train at the Plymouth Victoria R.F.C's (Plym Vic for short) training ground in Plympton on Wednesdays have quickly gained members due to their excepting and open welcome to anyone that wishes to try rugby.

The team had their very first training session on 5th January 2022, so they are most likely Plymouth newest rugby team, and possibly the UKs newest LGBT+ team.
The dolphins are training to compete in the International Gay Rugby League (I.G.R) to play amounts the many hundreds or thousands of teams not only around the rest of the UK but also worldwide in countries that are safe to compete in.
